Hispanic Heritage Month Spotlight: Meet Juan Garcia
September 15, 2026 | By: RealManage
As part of our Hispanic Heritage Month blog series, we’re spotlighting Hispanic leaders and associates across RealManage and sharing the experiences, cultures, and values that have shaped who they are—both personally and professionally.
First up, meet Juan Garcia, Vice President of Sales & Market Development for Southeast Florida. Originally from Venezuela, Juan’s journey has taken him from South America to Europe and ultimately North America. Along the way, living and working among different cultures and communities taught him something that continues to shape how he connects with people today: listen first, understand where someone is coming from, and be willing to adapt without losing sight of who you are.
“You have to listen, understand the culture you’re operating in, and adapt while still staying true to your values,” Juan said.
Today, Juan calls the United States home, but his Venezuelan roots and the values he grew up with—family, perseverance, hard work, transparency, and going above and beyond—remain an important part of his story. That same sense of service and responsibility has shaped how he gives back. Juan served as a volunteer firefighter with New York’s Sterling Forest Fire Company and has spent time mentoring startups, entrepreneurs, and students.
Different experiences, but there’s a common thread. Juan has always been drawn to opportunities where he can help build something, bring people together, and, as he puts it, “break down walls.”
Turning Heritage into Impact in Southeast Florida
Working in Southeast Florida—where Hispanic culture is deeply woven into everyday life and the business community—makes what Juan does especially meaningful. His own heritage creates opportunities for shared connection, but he believes lasting business relationships ultimately come down to authenticity and trust.
“Being able to connect with people through shared experiences and culture is meaningful, but ultimately those relationships have to be authentic and backed by what you deliver,” he said.
That philosophy is central to Juan’s work at RealManage. He joined the company about two years ago as Director of Sales and Business Development before stepping into his current role as Vice President of Sales & Market Development for Southeast Florida. Today, he works with Board members, community leaders, industry partners, and local teams to help expand RealManage’s community association management presence across the region.
His work spans a diverse market, from high-rise condominiums in Downtown Miami and Brickell to communities throughout Miami-Dade County, Broward County, Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Doral, and surrounding areas. Each community brings different needs, expectations, and local dynamics, making strong local knowledge and relationships an important part of effective community association management.
RealManage’s presence across the region continues to grow. Over the past two years, the company has added approximately 50 communities to its Southeast Florida portfolio and today manages more than 200 properties across the region.
But the responsibility behind those numbers matters just as much as the growth. “When a Board chooses RealManage, they’re trusting us with much more than a contract,” Juan said. “They’re trusting us with their community, their investment, and, for many residents, the place they call home.”
That sense of responsibility is also what makes Juan proud to represent RealManage. He sees the company’s people-first approach and focus on strong local relationships as closely aligned with the way he believes business should be done.
What Does Hispanic Heritage Month Mean to Juan Garcia?
For Juan, Hispanic Heritage Month is an opportunity to celebrate Hispanic and Latino cultures, traditions, and heritage while recognizing the contributions these communities continue to make. It’s also a time to reflect on the values and experiences people carry with them and how those influences shape the way they live, work, and lead.
Juan will share more of his perspective during RealManage’s Hispanic Heritage Month Panel on October 6, joining fellow associates for a conversation about the experiences, traditions, and values that have shaped them.
When asked what advice he would give to anyone looking to grow in their career or step into leadership, Juan doesn’t hesitate: “Don’t wait for permission.”
Work hard. Keep learning. Take ownership of where you want to go. Create opportunities instead of waiting for someone else to create them, stay true to your values, and don’t be afraid to take on challenges that push you forward.
It’s advice that reflects Juan’s own journey—and a fitting reminder that where we come from can shape us, but what we do with those experiences helps define where we go next.
